ABSTRACT:
Climate conditions of the broader area of Kopački rit Nature Park are shown on the basis of the meteorological data from the nearby main meteorological station Osijek for the period 1981-2010. In order to point out spatial diversity of broader plain area and necessity of meteorological monitoring also inside Kopački rit for better understanding of its microclimate, compared are meteorological conditions at stations Osijek in Osijek (Čepin), Kopački rit in Tikveš and Brestovac Belje in Grabovac over shorter period with overlaping of their work time (2004-2013). Shown is that the Kopački rit data are very important for the microclimate research of a corresponding specific slightly concave terrain in Nature Park. Aditionally, they can motivate establishing of meteorological monitoring in few more specific or prevailing types of terrain in Nature Park.
